INSTALLATION POSITIONS OF THE CROSSOVER PANEL

The Crossover Evacuated Tube Solar Panels will normally be installed in a VERTICAL POSITION. However, it should also be noted that because of the construction and design of our panels, that they can also be installed in a HORIZONTAL POSITION, as shown in the photo below. The flow of the water or glycol would naturally travel from the bottom of the ¾” diameter copper header pipe to the top when in the horizontal position. Because of the construction and working principal of our Unique Heat Pipes, there is no efficiency loss when mounted in the horizontal position.

Most of the Evacuated Tube Panels available in the market today must be installed in a Vertical Position in order to operate--this is not necessary for Crossover Panels.
